Overview
Biography
I am a forest health specialist at Mississippi State University in the Forestry department. I have a bachelors of science in Forestry and a bachelors of science in Fisheries & Wildlife, both from the University of Missouri in Columbia, MO. After leaving Missouri, I completed my Masters and PhD at Mississippi State University in the Department of Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Entomology, and Plant Pathology (now the Department of Agricultural Science and Plant Protection). I joined the Forestry department in July of 2024.
Research Interests
My research interests include forest entomology, insect ecology, and effects of climate on native forest insect populations.
Teaching Interests
I enjoy teaching ecology and forest health related courses.
